About the Online Batch Directory List Information Reader

The online batch directory list information reader is a browser-based file information extraction tool that supports batch reading of information for all files in a local folder.

This includes file name, file size, modified time, extension, and more, and the data can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet with one click for easy organizing and archiving.

The tool requires no installation. You can access and use it with a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, or another Webkit-based browser recommended).

How to Use the Batch Folder List Reader

Step 1: Select a folder by clicking the upload button and choosing the folder you want to read from your device.

Step 2: View the file list; the system automatically extracts detailed information for all files in that directory.

Step 3: Export the results by clicking "Export Results to Excel or TXT" to download a spreadsheet file containing all the information.

Note: Please use a Webkit-supported browser (such as Chrome or Edge). This tool does not support dragging in files; for reading a single file, please use the batch file list information reader.

Batch File Detail Reading FAQ

Does the tool support reading files in subfolders?

The current version only supports reading files in the top-level folder; recursion into subdirectories is not yet supported.

Can I export to CSV format?

The current export formats are Excel (.xlsx) and TXT. More formats may be supported in future versions.

Will the tool upload my files?

No. This tool is implemented purely on the front end. All operations are completed locally in the browser, and your file information is never uploaded or saved.

Is it supported on mobile devices?

Operating on phones or tablets is not recommended for now. We recommend using a desktop browser for the full feature experience.
