Custom Text Sort
Sort messy text using a custom-defined text sequence.
Tool Guide
Introduction
The Online Custom List Item Sorting Tool lets you use a custom text sequence as the sorting basis to quickly sort other unordered text with one click. It supports exporting to TXT or Excel.
The tool uses your reference sequence as the basis, finding each data item from the list to be sorted in turn and sorting them accordingly. Characters not specified in the reference array are placed at the end of the list in their order of appearance.
You can use this tool to sort various text data lists such as names and phone numbers—quick and convenient.
How to Use
Click the Example button to quickly try it out. On the right are 30 randomly generated data items ranging from 1 to 9, mixed with items like a and b that are not in the reference sort list. After clicking Sort, the tool sorts them according to the reference data (1–10) and places unspecified characters such as a and b at the end of the result list.
