About the Keyword Filter Tool

The online keyword filter tool can filter text list items that contain specified keywords, and can also exclude text items that contain specified keywords. It supports one-click copying or exporting to TXT or Excel.

Both the included text and the excluded text can consist of multiple entries, one per line. If both inclusion and exclusion are set, the filter keeps text items that both contain the "include keywords" and do not contain the "exclude keywords."

The tool automatically trims whitespace from both sides of keywords.

How to Filter by Included or Excluded Keywords

Step 1: Paste the words that "must be included" into the "Include Words" input box, and paste the words that "must be excluded" into the "Exclude Words" input box. At least one of the two must be filled in.

Step 2: Paste the list of keywords to be filtered—paste the list of keywords you want to batch-filter into the "Keyword List to Filter," one keyword per line. If you want to ignore case, you can check "Ignore case for all lists."

Step 3: Click "Start Filtering," and the system will automatically filter the keywords and display the total result count, the original count, and the filtered keyword list. When the volume of data is too large, the tool will prompt you to download directly.

Step 4: Export or copy the results—you can choose to export to TXT, export to Excel, or click "Copy Results." If you need to start over, click "Clear" to begin again.

Keyword Filtering FAQ

What are the "include" and "exclude" rules in keyword filtering?

"Include" means the keyword must contain certain words, otherwise it will not enter the results. "Exclude" means that as long as an excluded word appears in the keyword, it will be removed. The two can be used simultaneously, and multi-line matching is supported.

Does it support filtering large volumes of data?

Yes, it supports filtering large files, with keyword counts reaching hundreds of thousands of lines. If the text is too large, automatic display will be limited, and the tool will prompt you to download the results directly.

Can it ignore case?

Yes. After checking "Ignore case for all lists," the include words, exclude words, and keyword list will all be normalized to lowercase.

What file formats are available for export?

TXT text format and Excel (.xlsx) format are supported, making it easy to continue processing your word library locally.

What does "View Example" do?

Clicking it automatically fills in sample data, helping you quickly understand how the tool works.
