Tool Overview
The Online Schulte Grid Generator can quickly generate a Schulte grid with a specified number of cells, used for attention and visual training and other purposes.
The tool supports generating 16-cell, 25-cell, 36-cell, 49-cell, and 81-cell Schulte grids; as the number of cells increases, the difficulty gradually increases.

What Is a Schulte Grid
The Schulte Grid exercises the peripheral optic nerves through dynamic practice. In psychology, this grid is used to study and develop the speed of mental perception, including the speed of visual directional search movement.
It is used to cultivate the ability to concentrate, distribute, and control attention; expand the visual field; speed up viewing; and improve visual stability, discrimination, and directional search ability. The longer you practice, the less time it takes to read the grid. As practice deepens, the peripheral visual ability of the eyeball improves. Not only can beginners effectively expand their visual field, speed up their reading rhythm, and train the eyes for rapid recognition; but after entering the advanced stage, simultaneously expanding the vertical and horizontal visual field is very effective for achieving "reading ten lines at a glance" or "a page at a glance."
How to Use
- 1. Select the number of cells for the Schulte grid you want to generate, and click the generate button to generate a Schulte grid with the specified number of cells.
- Once the tester is ready, start timing. The tester is required to find and point out the numbers in order from 1 to the largest number in the grid, while reading the value of each cell aloud.
- After the tester finds all the numbers in order, timing ends and the tester's score is recorded.
- The faster the search speed, the stronger the tester's attention and visual search ability. Practicing often can greatly improve the tester's attention level and visual search stability.
