About the Text Length Filter Tool
An online tool for filtering a text list by length that keeps text items of a specified length and automatically removes those that don't meet the length criteria.
For example, when we have a very long list file with text items 3-12 characters long and need to keep only those 5-7 characters long, just set the minimum and maximum lengths to 5 and 7, paste the list, and click the button to complete the filtering.
The filter tool is suitable for batch-organizing accounts/IDs; filtering phone numbers, short codes, and invite codes; text preprocessing; batch text filtering and classification; formatting one-item-per-line data; and more.
After the text list is filtered, exporting a download to your local device or copying with one click is supported.
How to Filter Text by Length
Step 1: Paste the text list; paste the text you want to process line by line into the input box, one item per line.
Step 2: Set the filter rules; enter the minimum length, enter the maximum length, and choose whether to trim leading/trailing spaces (recommended on).
Step 3: Click "Start Filtering," and the system automatically filters out the text lines within the length range.
Step 4: View and export the results; the filtered results can be copied directly or downloaded and saved as a TXT file.

What if there are no results after filtering?
Please check: whether the length range you set is too small or too large, whether trimming spaces has shortened the length, and whether the original list is empty; adjust as appropriate and click "Start Filtering" again.
Can it handle thousands of lines of text?
Yes. This tool supports large-batch text processing and can run smoothly with thousands or even tens of thousands of lines.
What does trimming leading/trailing spaces do?
It's commonly used to clean copied data (such as content from Excel or scraped from web pages) to avoid inaccurate length calculations.
What if the TXT export fails?
Please check whether your browser is blocking downloads, or try a mainstream browser such as Chrome or Edge.
Can it filter by keyword?
The current version focuses on "filtering by length" and has no keyword filtering feature, keeping it simpler and more efficient by avoiding redundant operations. If you need to filter by keyword, use the Online Keyword Filter Tool.
