About This Tool
The online Chinese/English symbol converter can batch-convert Chinese symbols in text into English symbols, or batch-convert English symbols into Chinese symbols.
It supports custom replacement rules. If the default replacement set doesn't cover the characters you want to replace, you can set up custom replacement rules. Once set, your custom rules are always applied, whether you're converting English to Chinese symbols or Chinese to English symbols.
The custom replacement format is: original character:replacement character, using an English colon to separate the characters, and an English comma to separate different replacement rules—for example, $:￥,A:a. The tool will always convert $ to ￥ and A to a. Note: do not set the colon or comma as characters to replace, as they serve as separators and would cause logic errors. They are converted automatically by default and do not need to be set.
By default, the tool converts the following predefined characters:
Converts both single quotes ‘ and ’ to '
Converts both double quotes “ and ” to "
Converts the square brackets 【】 to []
Converts the curly braces ｛｝ to {}
Converts the parentheses （） to ()
Converts the comma ，to ,
Converts the colon ：to :
Converts the semicolon ；to ;
