Introduction
The Online Unit-Bearing Value Extraction and Summation Tool extracts and sums a series of values that carry units, making it easy to quickly calculate columns of values with units.
In Excel, some columns include value units, such as "3 items," "5 sheets," or "6 pieces" in an item list. To calculate the total of all items, you would normally have to first remove all the units before using a summation formula.
With this tool, you can sum unit-bearing values in one click. The tool automatically removes all units, extracts the value from each item, and sums them automatically. You can also export a list of the values without units in one click.
