About the Online QR Code Repair Tool

The online QR code repair tool can restore damaged, contaminated, obstructed, or logo-covered QR codes into brand-new, standard QR codes.

QR codes have a certain degree of error correction, so as long as the content can still be recognized, this tool can restore it into a clean, clear, regular, and attractive QR code.

Whether it's covered by mosaic, stickers, or a logo, or blurred by a screenshot, as long as the QR code content can be recognized normally, this tool can regenerate a clear, standard QR code and replace the original QR code in place, achieving a "QR code refresh."

Please note:

The QR code's content must be recognizable in order to be repaired; if the QR code is already extensively damaged with severely missing structure, it cannot be restored.

The QR code repair tool only processes the QR code region and does not affect other background content. If you need to cut out or remove the background, please use the appropriate tool.

The damaged QR code repair tool can also be used to remove the logo in the center of a QR code, automatically outputting a logo-free version after processing.

How to Repair a Damaged QR Code

Step 1: Import the QR code image in any way: paste a screenshot of the QR code with Ctrl+V; drag the image into the upload box; or click the upload area to select a QR code image.

Step 2: The system starts recognizing the QR code. If the QR code is recognizable, it automatically reads the content and regenerates a brand-new, logo-free, standard QR code based on the content.

It then overlays the new QR code onto the QR code region in the original image, completing the repair.

Step 3: The repaired QR code is displayed at the bottom of the page, and you can click the QR code to download the image directly. If you need to reprocess, click "Clear."

Note: Each image can have only one QR code. If there are multiple QR codes, recognition may go wrong, so please make sure each image has exactly one QR code.

What kind of QR code can be repaired?

As long as the QR code's content can still be recognized, even with missing parts, blur, mosaic, or obstruction, there is a chance to repair it. But if the QR code is too extensively damaged and its content cannot be recognized, it cannot be restored.

Can this tool remove the logo in the center of a QR code?

Yes. The tool regenerates a clean, standard QR code, so the original logo is naturally removed after processing.

Does the tool process the background content?

No. This tool only processes the QR code itself and does not modify other parts of the image. If you need to remove the background or cut out an object, please use a dedicated image processing tool.

Can the generated QR code be scanned normally?

Yes. The new QR code is a standard QR code re-encoded from the content, with higher clarity and a better scan success rate.

Does it support repairing screenshots directly?

Yes. After taking a screenshot of the QR code, press Ctrl+V to process it directly—very convenient.

What format is the downloaded QR code?

The online QR code repair tool generates images in JPG format by default, which is highly compatible and suitable for saving and use.
